I can tell you this: after years of selling, the game isn’t just about getting a ‘yes’. It’s about earning trust. When you’re building a relationship with a customer, remember that every interaction counts. Here are three things you may not have considered on your journey toward better customer experience: 1) Follow-up: Don’t just check the box with a sale. Follow up with your customers to show you care and to see if they need anything. You’d be surprised how far a simple check-in goes. 2) Active Listening: It’s not just about hearing their words but understanding their needs. Most people don't feel heard. Make them feel like their voices matter. 3) Feedback Loop: Create a system where customers can give feedback easily. Use that feedback to improve. Better yet, let them know how you implemented their suggestions. It brings them into your process. Your reputation grows every time you treat a customer right. So ask yourself: what are you doing today to elevate your customer relationships for tomorrow?
