People will get used to it. 1st they will order for getting exorbitant discounts on these platforms, plus they are happy to get things so fast in just 8 minutes, these companies are creating a behavioral change at masses like Swiggy and Zomato. once people start using them there is hardly going back to square one. they decide the rules we play accordingly. humans are designed in such a way the easier it gets they choose it. these food delivery and quick commerce takes advantage of these people making them couch potatoes sit and eat inside home order anything you want get it to us within few minutes. There are many advantages to this model also. once people start using then hard to change the behaviour. I'm telling you personally I suffered because of food delivery. i realised my average order value has sky rocketed. and i stopped ordering when I realised.
