Everyone is so worried that zepto is burning cash... but in reality they are winning in terms of marketing it is a great strategy. Have you guys heard about CPCA? ( cost per customer acquisition) so basically they spent 150 Rs to get a new customer onboard on to their platform which is very efficient. Rather than spending millions of rupees on digital and ATL / BTL activities, they send out a mass communication regarding cashback, this cashback will make customer repeat purchase behaviour.
