People will get used to it. convenience is the key factor, then even without any offer and cashback for free delivery people will start buying thinking you won't have to go out because you will save time. later these players bring a subscription model which says pay to avoid delivery fee, sur charge fee, demand fee, small cart fee, rain fee etc. These dark store models earn huge profit for them, they have started adding heavy margin products like air coolers, fan, mixi, which people usually buy on quick commerce websites. They will win the race till when the customer feels that they are getting their right value proposition.
