🥳 Zepto Gifted Me Everything For Free And Saved My Sunday Night 🌉 So, I’m living in Kanpur , a developing Tier 2 city with a population of over 30 lakh, so it’s quite obvious that Zepto wants to acquire this city as soon as possible. All the quick commerce and food delivery apps have already captured this city very well, but Zepto started its service very late in Kanpur compared to other Tier 1 cities. They literally started giving ₹150 to most Zepto accounts, and I’m one of the few people who received this cash reward after downloading Zepto. Since they launched the service a few months ago, I mostly ignored this cash, but today I wanted to watch Lucky Baskhar, a popular Indian business movie. I decided to watch it while eating a lot of things. I opened my Paytm account and realized that I already had very little savings. If I spent my money on eating these unhealthy snacks, it would be really hard to save much for building something. But I wanted to eat something while watching the movie, so I started exploring options under ₹50. Then I realized that these damn quick commerce apps don’t deliver items under ₹50, and the minimum order value is too high for my budget. But suddenly, while exploring, I remembered that a few months ago, Zepto had sent me ₹150 in cash, which I hadn’t used. I realized this was the right time to use it while watching Lucky Baskhar. I opened my Zepto account, selected snacks, but most of the snacks were outdated. Still, I ordered 7 things for under ₹150, and everything was 100% free. 😅 Oh yeah, this is a paid post because they literally saved me from walking out of the house and helped me enjoy my Sunday night. So whenever any company sends me cash for purchasing things, I always order items. By the way, Zepto is burning a lot of money by giving these kinds of offers to capture cities where other quick commerce apps are already dominating. This might explain their numerous fundraising rounds, but it’s good for users. At the end of the day, they will recover by adding small charges to a large customer base. Also, if you observe closely, 70-80% of Indians still haven’t started using quick commerce apps, so the future looks bright for them. However, retailers will face huge problems if they don’t change their working model.
