The worst thing Amazon and Flipkart has done in india is bringing Cash on delivery service, as Indian customers think shipping cost 0 Rs in india so first they order and then didn't accept during time of delivery. As a ecommerce owner if I share my last 1 week stats there is 14 out of 15 orders are on COD while I give 20% discount on prepaid. still I confirm the order by calling customers and they accept the order to ship but 8 of those 14 orders didn't get accepted during time of delivery. So now even Amazon and Ecom based startups all are facing losses due to this indian customers behaviour.
