The clock just doesn’t move sometimes in my case. So they show 40 mins sometimes for 40 minutes and then when you check it’s still 40 mins. 🤦🏾‍♂️

My philosophy, just order and then forget. I have stopped tracking order only lol

The app first shows the average time kitchen takes to processes an order, and it updates when they miss it, similarly delivery time starts when the rider picks up the order. I personally don't mind extra 10-15 mins because the kitchen only gets 5-10mins to prepare if they want to deliver within 30-40 mins. Also it puts pressure on the delivery guy to reach the destination faster which is not good for his own safety. If you're in a hurry, you can always text help desk. Sometimes it happens with swiggy also..

I guess this is a Location specific issue. This problem might not probably be faced by everyone.

Yes, I have face in this problem from few months. This is not a problem of delivery executive. I have asked them for many times. This is totally restaurants problem they take more time then showing in app. Then clearly Zomato is the responsible for this.

Well y'know the only thing that ultimately matters is Food Quality and the fact that you are getting it delivered in your home 🤷🏻

Ig it shouldn't be problem and let delivery person come accordingly, let's just not pressurise them.
