The Problem: Musicians struggle to find consistent paid gigs, and gig hosts (venues, event organizers, etc.) find it difficult to connect with the right talent. Right now, most bookings happen through word of mouth, which is unreliable, slow, and full of missed opportunities. There are many cases of artists getting scammed as well in this industry as they either recieve half payment or no payment at all after the event has been successfully done. For gig hosts,it is a struggle to find the right talent under right budget and they generally run google forms as meta ads inorder to get listing for their performances,it is both time consuming and costly. The Solution: Zigaura Zigaura is a digital platform where gig musicians and hosts can connect easily. Musicians sign up, share their details, and get added to regional WhatsApp groups where gigs are posted (our mvp model works on WhatsApp as of now) Hosts can contact us to post gigs in these groups and receive applications from verified musicians. It would serve as a structured way to connect talent with opportunities. Why This Could Work Hyperlocal matching (musicians see gigs relevant to their city/region). WhatsApp-based onboarding (no need for a separate app, just seamless communication). Strong community engagement, ensuring fast and reliable gig bookings. Does This Resonate With You?
