Brocode became one of India's hottest beer brands. But here's the crazy part. They don't even sell beer. Brocode sells wine disguised as beer and the reason why they do it is pure evil genius. Everyone orders Brocode thinking it's beer. That's exactly what they wanted. Look closely at their bottle. Something's hidden in plain sight. This is day one of 100 days of crazy business breakdowns. Brocode isn't beer at all. It's wine packaged as beer with 15% alcohol. That's three times stronger than regular beer. They also make sure it is placed next to beer instead of wine so that perception stays as beer. But wait, it gets better. On every bottle, they wrote Kraft sect. That's German for Kraft wine. They never even lied about it. Here's the genius part. In India, beer gets taxed two times more than wine. So by selling wine as beer, they pay half the taxes while everyone thinks they're drinking beer. This one move by Brocode created India's favorite party drink, saved crores in taxes and stayed completely legal. Sometimes the biggest business innovations are hiding in plain sight. Have you come across Brocode?
