Needed to be connected via the telephone and having a desktop computer was a whole different flex game. The onyl sources of info were the neighbours and relatives and if you see them succeeding doing what they did, or what you did, you would too wish that for your kid na?

Baat toh sahi hai but parents lived in a time when the career options that paid well or had job security were just these engg and medical right? Our kids might be sent for influencering, who knows.

This is exactly the kind of campaign we need in India. It highlights the ridiculousness of forcing children into careers they have no interest in, just like putting Bournvita in a toilet cleaner bottle

Clever marketing and good message

While catchy, it trivialises the issue, some parents might feel pressured to choose “safe” careers for their kids, especially in uncertain job markets which is the one we live in today. So many startups get funded and so many others put out layoff news.
