Work More - Founders. Do You agree? Boss! You are a founder/CEO/backbone of a company and the whole company is dependent on your back. Obviously you are supposed to work the most and get paid the most. As simple as that. Why does the CEO get a huge paycheck because of his input. A CEO can make or destroy a company ( Example: Starbucks) But why tf will an employee work that hard for a regular paycheck? I have a question, Will Bhavish ever work 70hr week as Ola driver and get as income as they get. No he wouldn't. If I am getting a very good salary for working 70hr then it would have made sense tbh. They are just bragging that " We work so hard , so should you " - NO stfu. Imagine each and everyone is working 70hr a week. Just imagine the world we would be living in. It's horrible. These mofo may be good in business but not as humans. IMO 70hr should be a CHOICE. If you want to earn more work more and live a lavish life. Simple. Why should it be compulsion? Ever heard of " 8 Hours work day movement"? iykyk Also, I bet they are never gonna pay good money to their employees even if they work that hard. Recently, I saw a surprising post on Medial. Concluding that India is already the most hardworking country ( 52 Hr a week) but still the employees don't get the average income of the world. And these people want people to work more. Such a horrible situation we are living in.

The sad truth is, in many companies, the long hours aren’t matched with fair pay. Workers in India, as you pointed out, are already putting in significant hours without receiving world-class wages. The disconnect between effort and compensation is a real issue, and demanding more without rewarding it properly? Just plain exploitation.

I get where you’re coming from. Founders often have a much higher stake in their company, so their long hours are tied to the risk they’re taking. But demanding 70-hour weeks from employees just to “match” the founder’s grind? That’s a toxic mentality. It’s not sustainable for most people.

The difference between founders and employees is incentives, not effort. Founders work 70+ hours because they own upside—wealth, freedom, legacy. Employees trade time for money. Asking them to hustle without equity is misaligned.
