Japan and South Korea had adopted the 70 hours a week and now the are developed economy but no one tells this to you because of this, their fertility rate is now stand 1.30 per women and 0.83 per women due to too much dedication to work..
Most people get promoted based on their accomplishments in their lower level which means a good salesman becomes a manager even if his experience in leader ship is shitty. This leads to a toxic work environment and I'm sure many of us deal with it. W
