Someone once told me there's no such thing as "organic." It's not true that organic users always have better metrics than inorganic ones. If this is the case for you, then your marketing and messaging before acquiring inorganic users is flawed. Does this sound right ?

People romanticize organic traffic, but it’s not always better. If your messaging sucks, even organic users will bounce. It’s all about how you engage them, not just where they come from.

If your product solves a problem and your messaging hits the right note, even paid users can become loyal. Blaming inorganic traffic is just an excuse for poor product-market fit.

You could get 1,000 organic users, but if your product isn’t resonating, they’ll leave just as fast as inorganic ones. Focus more on your onboarding and product experience. I really believe If your message is off, it doesn’t matter if you got the user organically or via paid means. Both will leave. I’d argue inorganic can give you faster feedback on what’s wrong.

Inorganic traffic gets a bad rep, but most of the time, it’s just because the targeting or messaging is off. If you bring in users who don’t care about your product, of course they’ll churn.
