Taking a brand to consumer court over an expired product seems excessive unless you suffered damages/health issues from using it. I'd first ask for a full refund plus compensation for the hassle. If they refuse, only then escalate to legal threats..e

Exactly the non compliance part is my issue and not just the refund. They should be apologetic about it and be scared that something of this sort would significantly ruin brand image and if we as customers don’t highlight then this would promote their negligence
