Taking a brand to consumer court over an expired product seems excessive unless you suffered damages/health issues from using it. I'd first ask for a full refund plus compensation for the hassle. If they refuse, only then escalate to legal threats..especially in india its slow

The issue isn't really the expired product but the non compliance even after multiple complaints. That is crazy! If you're trying to build a brand, you can't make such mistakes first of all. And even if God forbid you do by chance, you must be on your toes to rectify it asap so a user also feels loyalty due to your promptness
