Strategy series 1/10 As a child, which pencil did you prefer? Nataraj pencils or Apsara pencils? Now you might be shocked to hear that the both brands belong to the same company, Hindustan pencils. This type of corporate strategy is known as multi branding strategy. While Apsara pencils were promoted as extra dark pencils while Nataraj pencils were promoted as economic pencils. Many companies use this strategy like Volkswagen and Porsche both are belonged to Volkswagen group.
