Co-Build a VC fund in Public: Day 5 Once the initial team is in place, the most crucial aspect becomes culture. Establishing the right culture is essential for attracting the best candidates, retaining them, and fostering their growth. There is a distinct difference between building a company and building an institution. This difference lies in the founder’s DNA. I had and continue to dedicate a significant amount of time onboarding the right partners (not employees), aligning our vision, mentoring them, learning from them, and ensuring they thrive and grow. This approach applies not only to my co-founders but to everyone within the team. And what NOT to do is shown in the image below.
