But OYO and other hotel booking platforms are marketing as "Free cancellation available" as though it's their USP. Any idea on, What to do in that case .. ?

True then I have one more idea how about while cancelling the booking the customer needs to share his live location and if it is found within some fixed meters of range then no cancellation is allowed

That is a long procedure and OYO should come along with Google maps integration, which again increase the cost. But, I think we can make it this way. Customer can't make the cancellation within 500m - 1km from the hotel location. And it should be kept as a trade secret from OYO.
