Leaving everything aside, What about the customers(A male and a female) who genuinely just wants a place to stay during their trip and there isnt any sexual bond between them. Will they be denied entry?

Will I be wrong if I say, they are going against there own USP.

This is terrible & could easily amount to discrimination. If our courts were more active this act would be deemed unconstitutional. I know oyo is trying to change its image of being the Love hotel but it's terrible in my opinion. Moving backwards!

My take is that there’s a gap in the market waiting to be filled now ;)

This rule in OYO it's a great loss to the company itself. The intention and the rule is good, as per culture of India this rule is great , but as per business point of view OYO company will rise to down. Now, there are many who will start as same OYO that's all happens.

This reputation was affecting their business badly, glad they finally admit it and trying to correct. Business wise good decision, morally its debatable

However, there will still be individuals who won’t mind spending extra—they might book two rooms but use only one, which could temporarily boost revenue. Overall, though, I feel this change will negatively impact their revenue. Additionally, I don’t think this rule will significantly change their image.

An impactful move

It's a good move! tho this would cause a dip in their revenue, it would improve Oyo's brand image by a lot
