I agree with you to some extent, though if had to point out one reason being poor availability/Quality of jobs in India, that’s a huge thing I felt, somewhere, somehow everyone’s trying to escape the race (before even getting in) well nothing wrong in it, but validation is also a reason. They might not even move from their couches but might just want validation. (Not all ofc)

There are plenty of jobs in market but they require real life skills, most of the applicants solemnly depend on the formal education that they don't develop any skills i.e communication skills , presentably, problem solving.
