Everyoneโs leaving ๐ฌ At every graduation ceremony, the announcements sound like this: โ โSheโs going to London.โ โ โHe got into New York.โ โ โStanford, Harvard, Yaleโฆโ No one says: โ โIโm staying in India.โ โ โIโm building something for my own people.โ Why? Because the system never taught them to. The students arenโt the problem โ the education system is. Weโre trained to chase marks, not meaning. Weโre told what to think, not how to think. No one teaches us: โ How to solve the real problems around us โ How to think critically about the land we live on โ How to question: โWhy does my country still need help?โ Instead, we learn how to escape. Escape to better salaries. Escape to โcleaner cities.โ Escape from responsibility. China is teaching its youth coding, discipline, nationalism. Weโre feeding our youth with Canva templates and Instagram filters. Their kids are preparing to lead the future. Ours are preparing to leave it behind. Even after all the privilege, money, and world-class access โ weโre still exporting our minds and importing our vision. Because those who couldโve built something here โ all left. Iโm staying. Iโm building. But because Bharat deserves better from us. I want a future where the dream isnโt going abroad โ the dream is building something worth staying for.
