That every sectors drops which was in focus from past 10 years Infra/PSU's/Defence, all those sectors which rise up too high. And that money which was taken out from these sectors goes into safe bets and those stock and sectors which have not risen much but their profit and fundamental are still intact and fine. Like FMCG/IT stocks like TCS, HUL, peditlie, britania,etc in which I invested in today heavily. So exit, your kachra and overvalued stocks and take bets in these kinds of safe bets.

Fmcg is a sector which is less connected to the election results and hence most likely what happened was that the capital of people were shifted from other sectors (which were riskier) to a much safer bet in FMCG.

The results show that rural policy needs to be relooked at and more focus is expected on rural in the coming years. FMCG growth will be driven by the rural sector. Hence the sudden rise in FMCG stocks. This is my view.
