Okay, I was just checking the valuation of our Indian stock market and I noticed something interesting. Despite the heavy sell-off in October, FMCG, IT, and small-cap stocks are still overvalued. I understand why IT stocks are overvalued because the US stock market is overvalued. At one point, it made sense for FMCG stocks to be overvalued due to the festival season. But why are small-cap stocks so highly valued, and why are investors, especially retail investors, still putting money into them?

If retail investors invest their money in small cap and mid cap mutual funds excluding penny stocks they can still get returns higher than Nifty 50 or Nifty 500 the sooner individual investors realise this the better it will be for them

Just check this out, small-cap investors are sitting on massive losses right now, and for your information, small-cap stocks haven't even reached fair value yet, it's become a red sea.

Small-cap and mid-cap stocks have rebounded at the same speed they fell. The market sentiment appears positive. The market just needs a positive trigger, and it will rise further from here.

If I invest 10 crores in a small-cap stock, can I create market movement, and how significant would that movement be? Or do I need to invest in large-cap stocks to create a legal market movement (share price)? Even if the price increases, how much is

After such a heavy correction, small caps still seem a bit overvalued to me, although I'm not sure why. The Indian market needs a domestic push right now to give it an upward movement; otherwise, the market might remain sideways.
