The Government of Madhya Pradesh has announced a major relief measure for electricity consumers through its Samadhan Yojana 2025–26. This initiative offers a rebate of 50% to 100% on surcharge amounts of pending bills across all consumer categories. The scheme will be implemented in two phases and will benefit around 90 lakh consumers in the state. Consumers can pay either in full to get the maximum rebate or choose the installment payment option.
