I’m not sure why, but it feels like these Chinese manufacturers exposing top U.S. brands might actually be shooting themselves in the foot. Even if things eventually smooth out between the U.S. and China, those brands might not go back to the same manufacturers. They’ll probably look for new suppliers who can deliver what they need. This could be a golden opportunity for private players in India to step up and make a mark.
