A genetic testing company is pitching on Shark Tank tomorrow—possibly the first biotech startup to enter the tank! 🦈 <> 🧬 Curious to see how the sharks react to DNA sequencing and whether they’ll bite. Is the product legit? Will they challenge the science behind it? My initial impression of the company (SugarStrings.ai)—looks promising, but I’ll be paying close attention to their scientific rigour and technical claims. Not entirely sold on their proprietary AI/ML angle yet—being less than 2 years old with no visible scientific team beyond the founders makes me think they might be leveraging off-the-shelf solutions like Golden Helix. Either way, it’s exciting to see biotech stepping into the Shark Tank. Will investors see the value, or will this be a reality check for deeptech funding? Can’t wait!
