people tried integrating with local kirana stores but the first major issue was inventory management as they didn't have any real-time number of products available. Plus it was difficult to standardize storage as every kirana has different storage methods plus maintaining delivery standardization also became tough. Lastly it became tough to scale in that model because kirana only stored goods based on their capabilities and fulfilling orders beyond a point was not possible.
