It all started with a group chat... A story on how I validated my startup idea When my co-founders and I first thought of Roomify, we wanted to ensure it was solving a real problem. Together, we created a group chat specifically for Indian students at Arizona State University who were struggling to find housing and roommates. 🇺🇲 The response was incredible. Within days, the group was buzzing with activity over 1000+ students joined our community—students asking for roommates, sharing their budgets, and coordinating to split rents. Some needed housing urgently, others were looking for storage options during their trips back home. 🏡 With our combined efforts, the group became a hub of collaboration and inspired the features of Roomify. I’m sharing screenshots from the group to show how active and engaged it became, proving the demand for a platform like Roomify. Now, Roomify is ready to launch!
