Do you know how Lifebuoy reached millions of people at Kumbh Mela without billboards, TV, or social media? And this is possibly the smartest marketing campaigns you'll see. Back in 2013, Lifebuoy did something very interesting - Instead of putting up regular advertisements, they distributed 25 lakh rotis with a message stamped on them using heat stamps. And the message was quite clever - it said "Lifebuoy se haath dhoye kya?", which basically asked people if they had washed their hands before eating. And if you think about it, this was absolutely brilliant because First, they reached millions of people directly at a place where they couldn't ignore And second, they managed to strongly connect their brand with a very important hygiene habit in possibly the smartest way ever! I've posted more in depth about how Kumbh Mela is a huge marketing opportunity for brands So if you're interested, do check it out
