I was recently in a conversation with a founder whose sales team was floundering. He said, “I just need them to be better at closing.” So I asked, “What’s their process look like?” He paused. That's when I realized: most people know what they want but rarely take the time to understand why they’re not getting it. Here’s the deal: sales isn’t just about closing. It’s about the way you create an experience for your prospects. If they don’t trust you, they won’t buy, no matter how slick your pitch is. To get better, examine the entire customer journey. Build rapport before you get to the sale. Make them feel heard and understood. 1. Map out their journey from awareness to purchase. 2. Identify gaps where you lose connection. 3. Adjust your approach to meet them where they are. When you focus on creating a seamless experience, closing becomes almost effortless. What’s one thing you’re doing today that sets you apart in your sales interactions?
