I think while Maggi has immense brand equity, it clearly doesn’t shield the product from price-driven decisions in smaller markets. This shows that even powerful brands have limits when economic realities are factored in. Brand loyalty in rural India is highly vulnerable to price hikes, especially for non-essential items like snacks.
