Mostly startups collect customer behaviour data , survey , feedbacks , demographics information etc and then create their MVP products so that's problematic but still i saw many great Ceo's who is constantly observing their new customer activities and steps . Just like Medial founder who is following every single guy and Ritesh Aggarwal who is spending lots of time with hotel owners. Personally i think that's the great way for collecting right information without talking to team but at the end of the day you need to leave all these things on trusted employee.
