If you live in Bangalore you must know the headache that arises from autos, whether it be actually getting a auto or the fees that you have to keep paying for them, even if you have routine trips everyday or short distance trips less than 2 kms.In this method as well auto drivers get barely 500-600 per day after costs.Its a lose-lose situation. Why not implement a subscription based auto-hailling app? Where there would be a limit per month on kms travelled or trips and a quota for auto drivers on trips and/or travelled distance. I just thought this would be a much simpler method compared to norm currently.

It's basically like employing auto driver's and giving them a goal to complete. The problem here is they might charge extra to the customer telling that they don't earn that much. Just like how these cylinder deliver guys do. Moreover these auto guys will work only when they have too. Other timings they are just chilling in the name of getting rides on the side of the lane. I personally use auto for daily commute and trust me I'm shifting to my personal transport due to this. Can deal with these illiterate men on daily basis

Auto drivers are greedy and more greedy guys in Bangalore. They won't let you sit through cheap subscription. Only public transport buses can do this subscription model cost effectively. Govt. should come with Bus Lanes.

Nah nah, the problem is not the consumer, not the company's. But the riders. I can't tell how rude, toxic and bad they behave due to their poor mental health issues. They don't settle less. If something like you said comes up. They will literally ban or do some strike for that.

user behavior might be tricky. What if someone exhausts their quota mid-month? Need a solid overage plan.
