Nykaa: From Beauty Blog to E-commerce Giant So Nykaa was founded in 2012 by Falguni Nayar, a former investment banker. It was started a blog page where Falguni shared beauty tips, product reviews, and latest trends in the beauty industry. But soon she realised that inspite of the growing interest in beauty products and cosmetics, there were limited options for a consumers to purchase cosmetics online. So she thought of creating an e-commerce platform for beauty and wellness products. With that thought, In 2012, Nykaa pivoted from being just a beauty blog to an e-commerce platform specializing in beauty and wellness products. Later it expanded its offerings to include a wide range of skincare, haircare, makeup, and wellness products from both Indian and international brands. Today, Nykaa is a $6 Billion company publicly listed company with a โน6,000 Crore in sales. For those who ever used Nykaa, are their services better?
