Announcement : Pitchers (Digital Shark Tank) by Medial. Hello everyone! Glad to be announcing our flagship initiative- Pitchers! This app is for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs. Hence, to complement it, we have decided to celebrate ideas and dreams. You can submit your idea below in the comments section and we will select 3 winners and 2 runner ups. What winners get? First 3 ideas get cash prize of Rs. 20k, 15k and 10k respectively. Next 2 get 1k each. All winners get custom certificates issued by Medial for winning April 2024’s Pitchers and all startups stand a chance to VC introduction if any of our judges feel you idea has potential and want to take it ahead by funding you. Judging criteria? Uniqueness of Idea. How big the market is. How big a problem can it solve? How feasible it is technically. Number of likes/comments on ideas will decide their chances of coming in top 10 which will be sent to our judges and they will select the top 5. But wait what do you do if you don’t have an idea right now? We have a prize of 1k for 5 different people who contribute in critical analysis of these ideas (in replies to their comments). You have to tell every idea what is good about it and what isn’t or can be improved. So commenting and engaging will also let you be a part of pitchers. **Format to submit-** Name of the proposed startup- Two to three words max. Problem- 1-2 lines. Under 30 words. Solution - 3-4 lines. Under 100 words. Competition- Name 1 to 5 companies that already exist (if they do). Progress till now (If any)- 1-2 lines with metrics. Anyone who doesn’t follow the format will get disqualified and their idea will be deleted from the comment section. You can pitch a max of 3 different ideas. You get more advantage if you are actually making this and have some traction but this isn’t compulsory. Anonymously posted ideas will be disqualified. Replies to the ideas can be submitted anonymously. This is the post under which you need to pitch your idea.
