Facebook is now paying creators up to $3,000 a month to post Reels, and that tells you everything about where the power sits today. I noticed something interesting while auditing my distribution stack: creators from TikTok and YouTube are being selectively approached to bring their short-form content to Facebook. Not revenue share. Not ad splits. Direct, time-bound payouts to get them active on Reels. This isn’t Meta being generous. This is Meta accelerating supply. Even with billions of users, Facebook still doesn’t dominate attention the way TikTok does. So instead of waiting for organic momentum, they’re pulling it forward with incentives. The math is simple: if you already produce short-form content, this becomes pure distribution arbitrage. Same video, multiple platforms, multiple monetization paths. But here’s the shift most creators are missing: platform loyalty is dead. The creators winning right now don’t “belong” to any platform. They treat platforms like pipes. Content flows through all of them. Meta offering guaranteed payouts, even if limited and selective, just reinforces that shift. The real question is not “Should you join Facebook?” It’s: how many platforms are you currently under-distributing on? 🔗 YouTube: https://youtube.com/@GeeksGrow 🔗 Instagram: https://instagram.com/geeks.grow 🔗 X: https://x.com/AcE_HawK_M 🔗 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/varun-bhambhani-customer-specialist/
