SaaS Audit #6: SpaceBasic Booking a demo should feel effortless. Even small frictions can quietly reduce conversions and create a less-than-perfect first impression. I recently explored SpaceBasic’s website and noticed a few areas that could improve the user experience 👇 [1] Demo booking flow: Clicking “Schedule a Free Demo” opens a form instead of a booking calendar like Calendly. A direct calendar link or embedded scheduler could make the process smoother. [2] Form validation: The email field accepts invalid entries like a@a. com, and the number field allows non-numeric input such as *a*. Strong validation improves lead quality and user trust. [3] Thank you page: Nicely done! The page makes tracking conversions in Google Analytics 4 much easier. [4] Form usability: Clicking the (X) to close the Schedule Demo form requires multiple attempts (4 clicks). That can frustrate users. [5] Visual clarity: The screenshot used on the site is blurry. Replacing it with a clearer version will help convey professionalism. [6] Spelling check: Minor typo in “processed.” Small errors can subtly reduce credibility, so worth correcting. 👉 These are minor tweaks, but addressing them can create a smoother, more professional experience for potential users. 💡 Takeaway: In SaaS, small details make a big difference in trust and conversions. ____________________ This is part of my SaaS Audit series where I review recently funded startups and share practical insights for improving websites.
