I understand this creates an unfair advantage, but strategically it’s very effective. similar to what Amazon did with Amazon Basics. The issue is that Swiggy risks backlash for promoting its own products in a marketplace it built by outspending competitors to dominate. So yes, it is unfair, but in a way, they’ve earned the right to play that card.
