If you’ve been following my posts, you already know how MRF and CEAT dominate the tyre market. Their branding is so strong that people don’t even think twice before buying. And just today, I read that MRF has made Shubman Gill their brand ambassador. If you know MRF’s history, it's not surprising, right? They’ve had some of the biggest cricket legends on their list. Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Brian Lara, AB de Villiers, Steve Waugh. The best batsmen of every era. CEAT isn’t far behind either. They have Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shefali Verma, Ajinkya Rahane promoting their brand. Cricket is like a religion in India, and sponsoring top players is one of the smartest branding moves. And honestly, as a kid, I actually thought MRF was a bat company. Funny thing, right? 😂 I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one. How many of you thought the same? But this is the power of branding. When a cricketer like Gill or Rohit plays with a bat that has MRF or CEAT on it, knowingly or unknowingly, it builds brand credibility and trust. You start associating that brand with performance, strength, and reliability. just what you're looking for in a tyre. Genius marketing, right? 🚀

Branding is the key!! Many founders just call themselves as a brand or term their product/service as a brand. But it is not what you say, it is what your 'CUSTOMER' says about you.

In the 1990s, it didn't matter if your bat was English or Kashmiri willow; all you wanted was one with an MRF or Reebok label because Sachin and Dhoni used them. Buying these bats was about connecting with your idols, not just the bat itself. This i
