People like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg often talk about one simple trick that changes how you build anything. It is called first principles thinking. The idea is simple. Instead of accepting things the way they are, you break them down to the most basic truths and then rebuild from there. This is how Musk looked at rockets and asked why they cost so much. Instead of taking that cost for granted, he broke it down into parts, materials, and processes. He discovered that the raw materials were only a fraction of the final cost and that rethinking the process could cut it drastically. That is how SpaceX was born. The same logic applies everywhere. If you are building a startup, instead of copying a model because it exists, ask yourself what problem you are actually solving and what the most fundamental truths of that problem are. Then build up from there. One step at a time. It is not about being a genius. It is about refusing to accept the sentence this is how it is always done. 🚀
