Thought of pricing the product directly instead of striking out the higher price and show the lower price. For example, The product cost is posted as Rs.5000 ,striked it and the final price is Rs.2000. Do you think that strategy still works? I thought of show pricing as a single value. Share your thoughts.

I think it’s a little anointing Annoying personally. There are many things which i wanna buy personally, but i don’t If i see this kind of pricing. Because it’s really clear that they are rushing us to buy it. There must be something wrong.

Honestly, I love seeing the original price struck out with the discount price next to it. It gives me the feeling that I'm getting a bargain. But you have to be careful—if the "original" price feels inflated or unrealistic, it can turn customers off.

it depends on the market or region you are targeting if I specifically say about Current India this strategy would work as Gen Z and Millions are trying to break their survival mentality and trying to live a surplus life which this strategy helps as it shows more worth than the actual price offered. but if you are targeting the niche Rich class then it might not work as they tend to show more on the money value side then offer so they would prefer the single price .
