Come-on guys let's learn about the PRICING today ! Price of a product is the amount which a buyer is willing to pay & seller is willing to charge/sell for the product. Price of the product may also determine the success of the product at some extent. The price must not be too high.As it would lower the demand for the product due to issue of affordability & prices must not be too low that would affect the profitability of the business. So How should We price our product 1.Value for use- the price of the product must be determined as per the use/utility/facility of the product/service.Pricing could be affordable / premiuim.Consumers in our country want CHEAP PRICE & PREMIUM PRODUCTS 2.Competition- Pricing strategy can be set after analysing the competitor's price or price of the substitute goods 3.profitability- Pricing in some cases can be done by the profitability you want(high/low) There are many strategies for pricing ...let me know if you want to learn about diff strategies!!
