Agreed. What Sarvam is trying to do is difficult, but we really need it, or else India will loose another big opportunity. I was reading some data the other day where it said that firstly Chinese Ai models took 1-2 Years to even match the performance of Gpt-3.5, and in the next 2 years, they are almost as good as latest OpenAi's models. Indian models are still in that early phase and while i don't really expect them to get as good as current ones, we still anyways need them.
