Approx 12 Lakhs people giving JEE exma every with having 3.5% success ratio possibility. After JEE you have to invest 4 more years in IIT with quality education its not that if you not study then you will get job. Sometimes i think if people preparing for whole engineering Degree 6 years ( 2 years coaching & 4 years College). 90% of them only want CS stream also. Then why not they prepare direct for skills in those 6 precious year of life. They will get same result with high percentage of success ratio.

Packages bro , lockdown se phele 6 lpa ke liye log switch mar lete hai , aur IITs ki starting he 20 lpa se hoti hai , uppar se job ke liye HR ko koi IIT se mil Jaye toh ek bharosa rehta hai ki iss bande/bandi ki problem solving skills definitely aachi hogi.

You can learn many skills in that 4 years if you can be more productive. But definitely IIT's can make your way to the big companies if you are skilled enough. Ofcourse there can be many alternative ways you can get into big companies.

Don't talk people talk parents, how many of them would let their child learn a skill that would be relevant 2-3 years after 10th without going to college. (Where would someone even learn them?) And talk companies, list out the companies which offer 15 lpa for a 10th pass student who has all the skills needed!

The ans is quite simple why did you wasted your 12 years in giving 10th exams why you didn't directly started the prep for 10th boards because you need to learn the basics first and have a habit of learning and understanding those complex topics. Do you think a 10th pass student will be able to design data structures and apply logic. The whole thing is a process and btw if you want to learn the things directly there nobody stopping you. You can learn while studying. One more thing the mastery you are talking about is what people do in the colleges.
