Why do Indian founders glorify hustle over strategy? Everywhere you look—founder interviews, podcasts, startup reels—it’s all about grind, sacrifice, late nights, no weekends. Hustle is the badge of honor. The more tired you are, the more “entrepreneurial” you look. But here’s the truth: Is hustle alone enough? Don’t get me wrong—I’m not against hustle. I’m somewhere in the middle. What’s often missing is strategy. Hustling 18 hours a day won’t help if you’re running in the wrong direction. Strategy helps you ask: • What problem am I solving? • Is this the right market? • Are we spending our time and money wisely? Without strategy, hustle becomes noise. With strategy, hustle becomes focused effort. It’s not hustle vs strategy. It’s hustle with strategy that drives success. Founders need clarity, not chaos. That’s where growth happens.
