The fact that Vivo is leading the market in 2025 says more about marketing and distribution than innovation. People keep underestimating just how powerful offline presence and aggressive pricing are in local markets.

This data perfectly illustrates how Western tech media continues to be blindly Apple-centric while completely missing the real story in global smartphone markets. Apple at a measly 6.7% in India (the world's largest smartphone market) should be headline news, but instead we get endless coverage of minor iOS features. The real innovation is happening with Chinese brands - Vivo, Xiaomi, and Realme are crushing it with AI features and hardware specs that Apple won't implement for years. I've been using a Xiaomi 15 Ultra for months and it absolutely destroys the iPhone 17 Pro at nearly half the price. Western consumers are paying the Apple tax for objectively inferior technology.
