Working On Idea šŸ’”šŸ’”Ā ā€¢Ā 10d

I have been on Fiverr, completed good projects for clients from out of India, like Israel and USA-based clients. So, short story— It begins back in 2023 when I was working for a client from New York. A mid-aged man wanted to build a web game with JavaScript, and I was ready for that. But he had a condition: he had developed his own JavaScript framework that he wanted to build the game with, and he wanted to showcase that game to the framework users on GitHub. I was a bit confused at first after seeing his framework, but we are devs, so I cloned his framework repo, read all the documentation carefully, and started my development around it. I made a rabbit game for him using his own framework. He was happy and also paid me with money and a 5-star rating. He even shared his Discord link at the end of the project, but I didn’t give much attention to it. After 2 years, I was randomly on Discord and saw only one message from that client. The message was: ā€œHello friend! Glad you made it here. Let's connect when you are available. I am on EST time. Message me whenever you are free and we can discuss more gigs if you'd like.ā€ I felt so bad that I didn’t check his message earlier. I viewed his profile and got something— That person is an absolute programmer and showed me what a real programmer should be. He developed his own chat app, which is not like any other random chat app in the market. It doesn’t even do any fancy things, but it has this nostalgic feel—it made me feel better. I was like, ā€œMan, why am I using other chatrooms if I have this one?ā€ It doesn’t have any fancy designs, but when you're on that app, you feel better. You chat, you listen to songs, you play YouTube videos, you draw sketches, you just have fun. And specifically this thing is open source, which I think shows how the person who built it is passionate only for the project and not just doing it for money or random stuff. But why did I write this story specifically? I wrote this story only to show all the programmers who think just building stuff is the only thing, or the people who fear that AI will replace their jobs—no, man. Don’t just work for jobs. Sometimes, just follow your dreams and build stuff for fun. Trust me, when you build something for yourself and it works for you, it will definitely work for others too. here you can check him: https://buddypond.com/
