Ravi was always envious of others who were successful and blamed "luck" for his difficulties. He realised one day after reading " The Millionaire Fastlane " that methods and persistent effort, not chance, were the source of prosperity. He came to the realisation that he was ensnared in transient pleasures, such as owning a car that was out of his price range and devices that provided momentary happiness. "Am I creating value or just consuming?" Ravi asked, shifting his attention. He discovered that true prosperity isn't about luck but rather about coordinating activities with purpose and making a lasting impact, so he adopted a hustler attitude and quit pursuing trinkets in favour of constructing a future.
