𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹’𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 Right now, 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥’𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. 𝟗𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬—𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐈 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐩. • No clear monetization • No scalability • No real market demand Even the 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 would struggle to make ₹𝟏𝟎 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐡/𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. That’s not a startup. That’s just a side project. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺? 𝗡𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗡𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗡𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. Most startups here follow this broken formula: • “𝐖𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐗.” → But is there a real problem? • “𝐖𝐞’𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫.” → But how will you survive? • “𝐖𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.” → But why would investors bet on an unproven idea? Right now, Medial’s showcase is 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬. If Medial wants to 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬, the bar needs to be higher. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 & 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗽𝗮𝗱 • 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐭 – Does this solve a real pain point? • 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 – Who pays? How much? How often? • 𝐆𝐨-𝐭𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲– How will the startup get its first 1,000 users? • 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 – What progress has been made? Who’s building it? • 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Does this have strong unit economics? Can it be profitable? • 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 – Can this become a large business? • 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 – How much money is needed, and what will it achieve? 𝗡𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀. Medial has an opportunity to 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 by: • Filtering out projects with no business fundamentals • Highlighting execution-ready startups • Attracting real investors who fund businesses, not ideas 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬. 𝐈𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. If you’re serious about startups, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. What do you think? 🔥
