I am seeing as middle class family the orders we were ordering from zomato has decreased because there cost has been increased . May be i think Firstly zomato was burning investors money but now as they want to be profitable they are increasing their cost due to which 2tier and 3 tier are unable to afford zomato and their growth is also saturated . Might this be a reason ? I am not sure but i think that zepto would also not work when they wanting to be profitable because in india i have seen people who are working under my parents are ordeing from zepto beacause they are getting huge discounts and free cash may be 100rs on groceries , and by seeing that everyone will order in india people who are in 2nd and 3rd incomes are also decreasing and everyone want to save every penny . But in longer it might not work i think because anyone can go down and buy groceries without any hidden costs . Only 1tier will afford zepto in future ? What u think i was sitting in toilet and thought this

I believe zepto will work because they are integrating the supply chain not just delivering them. Thus, they are cutting out the middlemen’s margins which they can utilise for the delivery charges. In a recent LinkedIn post by Aadit Palicha the CEO, he wants people to start business of procuring the vegetables from local farmers and supply to them.
